Acquisition of Busby & Associates strengthens consultant's existing North American network of five offices
Turner & Townsend has acquired US-based cost management consultant Busby & Associates.
The acquisition of the US specialist forms part of the British consulting group's bid to build up its international network, adding to its North American presence of five offices and 130 staff.
Busby & Associates has previously worked with the US Department of Homeland Security and the University of Texas and specialises in healthcare, public sector and education projects.
Turner & Townsend was recently appointed on Bournville Village Trust’s £24m redevelopment of Lower Shenley in the UK
Vincent Clancy, chief executive of Turner & Townsend, said the acquisition would provide the firm with “local market experience, which will add to our growing presence in Houston and the US”.
Turner & Townsend has operated in North America for eight years, providing a variety of services to US clients, including construction consulting and project management.
