Glasgow council has unveiled plans for a £100m project at Speirs Lock, masterplanned by Make Architects.

Thirty acres around the canal will be transformed, with green-roofed terraces spanning the length of the mixed-use site. The plans include room for 250 homes, 100,000ft2 of office space as well as retail and community areas. The landscape designer is Rankin Fraser, the artist Koan3 and the regeneration consultant is Kevin Murray Associates.
