Builders merchant to return to Timber Trade Federation due to management change

Builders merchant Travis Perkins is set to rejoin the Timber Trade Federation next year.

Travis Perkins left the TTF, which promotes the use of wood, because it felt the trade body wasn’t well managed and didn’t have good links with industry bodies.

The builders merchant said it was rejoining the TTF because they were impressed by its new management and the steps taken to improve the professionalism of the organisation and develop ethical links. It added that current market conditions meant organisations needed to work together to ensure a successful future.
