Building envelope specialist Weatherwise has been awarded the £1.25m contract for cladding and roof on the Tempus Tower apartments at Irwell Quays in Manchester.
Tower of strength
Built within the facade of the grade II-listed Royal Mail buildings on Mirabel Street in central Manchester, the 21-storey apartment building will contain 146 apartments and use a zinc and terracotta rainscreen. Weatherwise was awarded the project by contractor Laing O’Rourke Northern.
