Firm founded by former Jones Lang LaSalle directors describes ‘massive support’ from clients of old company
Start-up firm Tower 8 turned over £2.2m in its second year of trading, the firm revealed this week.
The project and cost management consultant now has 14 professional staff, including directors. It is targeting growth to £2.8m-£3m turnover with 18-20 professional staff by the end of the current financial year, ending 31 May 2014.
The firm was founded by four former directors of Jones Lang LaSalle’s project and development services team – Simon Craven, James Morris, Adam Mursal and Toby Wait – and is focused on mixed-use, hotel and commercial schemes, primarily in London, although recently it has begun winning work elsewhere in the UK, as well as in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur.
Clients include Unite, Nvidia, Quintain, British Gas, Berkeley Homes, Amsprop, Premier Inn and Whitbread.
Morris said some of Tower 8’s work was coming “direct from funders” of which some were developing the schemes in-house with their support.
Mursal said that the firm had “massive support” from former clients that had continued working with the partners at their new firm.
The firm declined to disclose its profit figures.
