Land Securities Trillium, Wates and Bouygues to receive 'invitation to negotiate' from Peterborough council.
Three construction groups are to enter negotiations with Peterborough council for the city’s £64m schools’ PFI contract.
Land Securities Trillium, QED Wates and IIC Peterborough, which is a consortium of Bouygues Education and Mill Group, are the three groups that will receive a formal “invitation to negotiate” from the city council in the next few weeks.
The PFI project involves the construction of three schools. The successful bidder will have to design, build and operate the new North School, Jack Hunt School and Ken Stimpon School.
Stephen Forster, secondary schools review manager for the council, said: "We are delighted to have secured three such high-rofile bidders for the project. All three consortiums have been very impressed with the level of detail that has been provided at this stage of the project and we are already working closely with them to move things forward.”
