Trio of contactors land North Lanarkshire schools programme
Contractors Galliford Try, Morgan Sindall and Kier Construction have been named as contractors for a £100m schools framework for North Lanarkshire Council.
The Schools and Centres 21 Phase 2 Framework is expected to produce a pipeline of £100m in schools projects, which will each be tendered within the framework via mini-competitions.
Galliford’s Scottish subsidiary Morrison won the award.
Galliford Try executive chairman Greg Fitzgerald said the framework award built on the existing relationship with North Lanarkshire Council through its Hub South West schools projects. “Morrison Construction continues to lead the way as contractor of choice for the public sector in Scotland and will continue to play a key part in our strategy to increase the size of our construction business,” he said.
