DF Beniston was the main contractor on Thomas Land at Drayton Manor Theme Park

Thomas the Tank Engine has arrived at Drayton Manor Theme Park’s latest attraction. The £4.5m Thomas Land is set within the 280-acre theme park and will feature 12 themed rides as well as new restaurants, a shop, indoor play error and private function space.

The main contractor on the scheme was DF Beniston. The steel contractor was Spanclad Construction and civil engineering was carried out by ASP Consulting. The project manager was Edward Pawley, the general manager for operations at Drayton Manor.

Thomas Land opens on 15th March 2008.
