Homes in Damer Court, Wellington Street, Dublin, have been thermally upgraded with the addition of weber.therm External Wall Insulation (EWI) and render system.
The homes, built in 1972 and owned by the Church Of Ireland have narrow cavity brickwork and no insulation. Active Thermal Building Services of Dublin carried out the work which included the weber.therm XB EWI, replacement windows and doors and attic insulation. The brick-effect for the building was achieved by applying 7-8mm of weber.rend RBB polymer modified mortar and when adding a 2-3mm coating of weber.rend RBF. The system was chosen to exceed Part L regulations and to match the surrounding area.
