Pittsburgh Corning’s Foamglas Floorboard F was used on the new Porsche Centre in Solihull

Pittsburgh Corning has supplied Foamglas Floorboard F for the showroom, 12-bay workshop and valet building of the new Porsche Centre in Solihull, West Midlands. The company says it was chosen for its durability and compressive strength of 1,600kPa/m2. Floorboard F is a cellular glass thermal insulation product in which each block is made up of millions of hermetically sealed glass cells. The firm claims this means it has outstanding insulation properties and is impervious to any form of damp or vapour condensation. Foamglas Floorboard F is fully compliant with Building Regulations.
