Keep up to dateAtkins has revealed its designs for this 165 m tall five-star hotel in Istanbul, Turkey. It will offer more than 100,000 m² of luxury accommodation over more than 40 floors.
Inspiration for the hotel, which also features a ballroom and 1200-capacity conference facility, came from the Bosphorus Strait, which runs through Istanbul. The hotel has been granted outline planning permission. It is expected to be completed in 2008.
