On Thursday, Gerald Ronson, chief executive of Heron International, and Lee Polisano, president of architect Kohn Pedersen Fox, placed a tortoise shell in the foundations of the £242m Heron Tower in the City of London
The unusual ceremony for the 46-storey tower, which will be the tallest in the City (until the completion of the Pinnacle), was carried out “in line with feng shui traditions”, Heron said. The tower is being built by Skanska.
