Candy & Candy has appointed Terry Starr construction director of its £959m Chelsea Barracks development.
The luxury developer snapped up Starr after he left Westfield’s Stratford City project last month. Starr, who was a director at Sir Robert McAlpine before he joined Westfield, will oversee the construction of the 12.8 acre residential development, to be designed by Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners.
He said: “I decided to join simply because I was impressed by the commitment to excellence and wanted to be part of its success.”
Candy & Candy has also poached Gary Edwards, M&E manager at Multiplex, to support its building services team.
