Electrical engineer says it is ready to take advantage of improving markets
Electrical engineer T. Clarke has the level of tendering activity in its markets had improved in the period from 1 July 2009 to 18 November 2009 and said it was preparing for an upturn.
Although the firm said markets remained challenging and competitive it said results were broadly in line with expectations.
T. Clarke's order book stands at approximately £140m and the firm said its cash position remained robust.
The board said it was confident of maintaining market share. It said its strong balance sheet would enable it to consider opportunities as they arise.
