JukesTodd employs 100 people across three cities
Turner & Townsend has bought Australian project management firm JukesTodd for an undisclosed sum.
The 100-strong business was set up in 2007 and has offices in Brisbane, where it is based, as well as Perth and Sydney.
T&T said the move will double the size of its natural resources business in Australia to 170 people.
Explaining the decision, Andy Aston, global natural resources lead of T&T, said: “It is a crucial time for the global natural resources sector as it navigates the transition to sustainable mining and clean energy. Decarbonisation of operations and the sustainable production of critical minerals including lithium, aluminium and copper, that are essential to a low carbon future, are central to this.”
The combined business will work together as Turner & Townsend JukesTodd in the Australia and New Zealand natural resources market. It will continue to be led by Steve Jukes, current managing director.
T&T’s Australia and New Zealand business now has more than 900 people as a result of the deal.
