T&T scores role on £2.3bn Kiwi rail job

City Rail Link

Auckland scheme due to be finished in 2024

Turner & Townsend has been chosen to provide cost management services for the City Rail Link project in New Zealand - the country’ largest ever transport project.

The NZ$4.4bn (£2.3bn) project is Auckland’s first underground rail line and is due to open in 2024.

The project includes the redevelopment of an existing heritage station, two new underground stations – linked by a 3.45km twin tunnel up to 42m below the city centre – and associated network enhancements.
