Electrical sepcialist picks up roles on major schemes
Specialist M&E contractor T Clarke has picked up a slew of contracts on major projects together worth £75m, the firm said today.
T Clarke, which has issued profit warnings this year related to disputes on major projects, saw its shares rally sharply on the news it had secured the high profile cache of projects, which include work on Brookfield’s London Wall Place scheme and Great Portland Estate’s Rathbone Square scheme (pictured).
Shares in T Clarke rose more than 20% in early trading on the news, to 51p.
T Clarke said the contracts wins also included roles on a 240-home residential scheme for the Berkeley Group called Beaufort Park, Stanhope development One Angel Court, and Brookfield’s Principal Place scheme.
Mark Lawrence, CEO of T Clarke, said the wins reinforced the firm’s “very strong position” in the London market. “As the market tightens, clients are keen to secure the best teams to work on their projects. I am pleased that our collaborative approach and attention to detail have been recognised as we look forward to commencing our onsite activities on these projects next year,” he said.
