Both consultants will target retail opportunities worldwide
Sweett Group has sealed an alliance agreement with Chicago-based retail development consultancy Greeby.
The two firms will work together to target cost, project and development management services throughout their respective regions, particularly in the retail sector.
Greeby has 350 staff across offices in Chicago, Boston, Los Angeles and Orlando.
The alliance follows a joint venture between Sweett and New York-based project manager VVA in May.
Derek Pitcher, Sweett managing director, Europe & MEAI, said: “We are very pleased to be taking the next step in developing the Group’s global retail capability.
“Through our alliance with Greeby, we will be able to support major US developers and funding institutions with their expansion across Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
“The alliance also strengthens our service offering within the high-end retail market, where we are already working with luxury brands such as Jimmy Choo, Shanghai Tang and Selfridges across Europe and Asia.”
Gordon T. Greeby, president of The Greeby Companies, Inc., said: “The alliance announced today will allow both parties to mutually develop their retail client relationships within the United States, as well as globally.”
