Consultant unveils images of Shanghai Tang Mansion store
Sweett Group has unveiled images of the completed overhaul of luxury brand Shanghai Tang’s flagship Hong Kong store.
The design of the four floor store is a modern interpretation of a Chinese art deco mansion, Sweett said.
The consultant project managed the 15,000 ft2 scheme in the city’s historic Duddell Street.
Steven Resco, deputy director of project management at Sweett Group, said: “We were privileged to be Shanghai Tang’s trusted partner in delivering its landmark Mansion store.
“Working together closely, we overcame the many unique challenges that the complex site and exciting new design presented in order to achieve a high quality store of which we are all proud. We are delighted to have realised Shanghai Tang’s ambitious vision.”
Raphael le Masne de Chermont, executive chairman of Shanghai Tang, said: “We are excited to introduce our next milestone. The Shanghai Tang Mansion represents our commitment as the Global Ambassador of Contemporary Chinese Chic, and we feel honoured to play a part in revitalising a historic Hong Kong street with a modern retail and lifestyle destination.”
