UK consultant buys Bangkok-based Boulter Stewart
Sweett Group has acquired Thai-based quantity surveyor Boulter Stewart to bolster its operations in Asia.
Established in 1997, Boulter Stewart provides quantity surveying, contract administration, project financial services, due diligence and dispute resolution services.
Boulter Stewart focuses on the industrial, commercial and hotels and leisure sectors.
Kim Berry (pictured), Asia Pacific managing director of Sweett Group, said: “By combining the QS expertise and local knowledge of Boulter Stewart with our established Sweett Group project management business, we are creating a consultancy specifically targeted at local and international clients operating in the Thai market.
Bob Boulter, managing director of Boulter Stewart, said: “Boulter Stewart’s collaboration with Sweett Group has been conducted successfully over a number of years with a variety of projects.
“The merger of the two organisations is the obvious way forward for us both in Thailand. We look forward to the benefits of working more closely with Sweett’s global business and, locally, with their rapidly expanding team in Bangkok.”
