The half-day event, hosted by the RIBA Trust and the Victoria and Albert Museum and organised by UNESCO and Arup Associates, will focus on the role of architecture and the environment in maintaining local and traditional cultures under threat from increasing globalisation. Speakers include Francesco Bandarin, Head of World Heritage, UNESCO, and architect and renowned author, Juhani Pallasmaa.
