Kalzip’s roofings system was used on the Slough Bus Station
Over 1,200m2 of Kalzip’s aluminium standing seam roofing system, including 1,000m2 of Kalzip XT profile and smooth curved sheets have been installed on the new Slough Bus Station. The architect, Matthew Bedward of Bblur Architecture, said the roofing system was chosen as it was flexible and quick to install, as well as being capable of delivering the 3D smooth contoured effect. Kalzip XT profile sheets were installed in the areas where double curved convex geometry occurred and on some areas of the roof. Smooth curved Kalzip sheets were installed in the straight areas of canopy between the points of contraflexure.
