Marley Eternit has added a new colour to its EcoLogic tile range.

Called Nimbus Grey, the grey-blue coloured tile is intended to give a closer aesthetic match to natural slate so it can be more readily specified in areas where slate is traditionally used.

The firm claims the new formulation also offers improved durability and sustained performance. It says EcoLogic can achieve an A+ rating under the Building Research Establishment’s Green Guide to Specification and is certified with a “good” rating under BES 6001, Framework Standard for the Responsible Sourcing of Construction Products, making a significant contribution towards a project attaining the maximum number of credits available under the Code for Sustainable Homes and BREEAM.
