This is a new series where we want to tap into Building readers’ drawing talents and publish the best quick doodles that you send in.

To kick off here is an offering from our architectural correspondent Ike Ijeh. It’s called “It wouldn’t happen in Rome” and is described by Ike as being a satirical take on London’s incoherent and unresolved approach to tall buildings.

To submit your sketches for publication please email building@ubm.com or post via Twitter using the hashtag #buildingdoodle.
