Skanska has won a £150m contract to build Minerva’s St Botolphs development in the City of London.
The office and retail scheme, located on a 1.25 acre site in Aldgate, was designed by architect Grimshaw. The 14-storey building is the second of two schemes in the City that Skanska is building for Minerva, following the award of the Walbrook last summer.
Enabling works have now commenced and completion is scheduled for 2010.
Dave Shadwell, Senior Vice President of Skanska’s Construction Private Operating
Unit said: “St Botolphs is a very exciting scheme and we are delighted to be involved
in its development alongside Minerva. We have an excellent long term relationship
with the company and we are looking forward to delivering another stunning
development for them”.
