Skanska is due to start work on mixed-use development in High Holborn this autumn

Scandinavian contractor giant, Skanska has been appointed on a £23.7m mixed-use development project on High Holborn in central London.

The development will be made up of office accommodation, seven retail units and nine residential units.

Skanska will be working for Ebble Developments Ltd and will start work on the project in the autumn.

Dave Shadwell, managing director of Skanska’s commercial construction operating unit said: “[Working on the project] shows that our combination of technical expertise and innovative solutions to central London schemes is delivering real benefits to our clients and making our offerings very attractive to the marketplace.”
