Contractors among 21 new members of the group
Contractors Skanska, Kier and Breyer Group are among the latest members of the Green Deal Finance company.
A group of 21 firms and local authorities are among the new members of the finance company which is charged with sourcing low cost finance to support the flagship government energy efficiency initiative.
Paul Davies, partner at accountant PwC, speaking on behalf of The Green Deal Finance Company, said: “We have had significant interest in joining from other organisations in the public and private sectors, so we expect membership to increase again over the coming months as organisations prepare to take advantage of the consumer interest in this scheme at its roll out in Autumn.”

- Yorkshire Energy Services.
Previously announced members of the Green Deal Finance company include contractors Willmott Dixon and Carillion; energy firms British Gas, E.ON and EDF Energy; and local authorities Newcastle City Council and Norfolk County Council.
