Firm to shed around 30 staff in the south of England under restructuring plans
John Sisk & Son has begun a staff consultation over plans to cut its workforce in the south of England by 30.
The firm has announced plans to make 30 planned redundancies at its London and regional operations.
A spokesperson for Sisk said: “The Sisk UK South regional construction business is determined to remain competitive and meet the challenging market conditions this year with a strategically focused but reduced workload.
“It has therefore become necessary to consolidate this business and unfortunately, the company envisage they may have to make approximately 30 redundancies in order to achieve this consolidation.”
