Farrells appointed to masterplan mixed-use developments for Tishman Speyer
Architect Farrells has been appointed to masterplan two mixed-use developments in Shanghai.
The first is a development in the shipyards of the Pudong district of the city and includes a retail and leisure destination, including towers with high quality office space, all totalling 5 million ft2.
The second project, The Springs, to the north of the city, will have 10 million ft2 of residential, commercial and retail space over 66 acres of land.
The plan, for developer Tishman Speyer, borrows design features from existing parks in the city in a bid to integrate seamlessly into the city landscape.
