Building services company to install M&E systems on waste recycling plants in Greater Manchester area
Building services firm SES has secured a £16m role on the Greater Manchester waste PFI.
The firm will be responsible for installing mechanical and electrical systems on the project, which will see waste recycling plants built at 27 sites over the next three years.
Costain, which is the main contractor on the scheme, is building five treatment plants, four composting plants, six loading stations, two green waste facilities and carrying out works on 24 household waste recycling centres, spread over a 50-mile radius.
SES will be responsible for installing external lighting, sprinkler systems, water mains and CCTV systems.
