Firms have until Friday to register interest
A search to find firms capable of providing vital service and maintenance work for the NHS at short notice has begun.
The Building Engineering Services Association (BESA) is conducting a survey to find out which firms who can do this.
The survey will run until the end of this week and will then be used to provide a list of available companies to help out the NHS.
David Frise, chief executive of BESA, said: “The idea is to provide the NHS with rapid and easy access to qualified professionals able to deliver vital repairs and maintenance to keep their facilities working under intense pressure.
”In return, it should generate work for our members and other firms across the sector who are currently struggling in this unprecedented crisis.”

BESA said there had already been more than 120 submissions to the survey and numbers were rising quickly.
