Stone wool insulation manufacturer Rockwool has been awarded the British Safety Council’s Sword of Honour prize for 2011 in recognition of its outstanding health and safety performance.
Seventy-two firms applied for the accolade this year, with 54 securing the appropriate pass standard.

“We intend on continuing to work with organisations such as the British Safety Council to maintain the high health and safety levels at our facilities. We constantly review our policies and procedures to ensure we continue to lead the way in best practice manufacturing of insulation products.”
