Consultant raises £2,000 for Sheffield homeless charity in Grand Prix themed reception
Consultant RLF treated guests to a Grand Prix themed reception at the Crystal Bar on Carver Street in Sheffield to celebrate the launch of its latest regional office.
Over 150 clients celebrated with Brazilian themed cocktails, food and music.
A giant Scalextric and PlayStation motor racing games provided competition and entertainment. Also in attendance were representatives from homeless charity Emmaus, which has recently opened a community centre in Sheffield to provide work and a place to live for homeless people.
During the reception £1,000 was raised for Emmaus through raffling off a racing day, food hamper donated by local Italian restaurant Nonna’s and a champagne afternoon tea, donated by the Leopold Hotel.
RLF matched the raffle money raising £2,000 for the local charity.
The Sheffield office was opened earlier this year at The John Watts Cutlery Works with partner David Cadenhead and associate partner Lee Barron appointed to take the helm of the multi-disciplinary practice.
Cadenhead said: “This was a great opportunity to showcase our team Sheffield is a great place in which to be working at present and I am sure this is a sentiment that many of the attendees shared.”
