Consultant will help Wales & West Housing build 106 homes
Rider Levett Bucknall has been appointed quantity surveyor on two residential schemes worth £10.8m for not-for-profit client Wales & West Housing.
The first £5.5m development is for 58 homes in Greenfield, Filtshire, all for affordable rent and due for completion in Spring 2015.
The second £5.3m scheme is a 48-home extra care and supported living complex in Newtown, Powys, due for completion in Spring 2014.
RLB is completing work on a further Wales & West Housing scheme this month – a 61-home scheme of extra care bungalows.
Nigel Mason, managing partner at Rider Levett Bucknall said: “We have been working with Wales and West Housing for several years now on a wide range of residential and extra care projects.
“This includes houses and bungalows that meet a variety of needs for people with extra care requirements such autism and dementia.”
Anne Hinchey, chief executive of Wales & West Housing said: “We are pleased to be working with the Rider Levett Bucknall team again.
“Their in-depth knowledge and keen understanding of what we are trying to achieve for our residents is a key element to the success of our developments and the wider communities around them.”
