Firm says appointments part of company growth plan
Rider Levett Bucknall (RLB) has raided Mace’s cost consultancy business for five staff in order to beef up its growth plans in the UK.
All five – Nick Eliot, senior partner; Andrew Fettes-Brown, senior partner, quantity surveying; Ian Blakeman, partner, data centres; Paul Goodwin, partner, engineering services, and Tim Spencer, partner, corporate fit outs – are specialists in commercial property and data centres and will be working out of RLB’s office in London.
Andy Reynolds, RLB’s UK and global director, recently outlined the firm’s ambitious growth plans to Building, saying it aimed to ramp up overall revenues by a fifth in the next four years.
Speaking about the new arrivals he said: “They are all part of our strategic plan to attract the best talent into our business to support our ambitious growth plans in the UK.
“The combination of technical expertise and industry leading experience these appointments bring, bolsters our service and sector offer for our customers in the UK and internationally.”
Eliot said he was “extremely pleased to be joining RLB at such a pivotal time”.
A Mace spokesperson said the majority of its former employees were directors in its cost consultancy business.
