New man in charge of 50-strong team
Ridge has brought in a former Mace operations director to head up its defence and security business.
Chris Taylor started earlier this month as a partner at the firm, joining from Mace where he spent five years. His CV also includes stints at Deloitte and US financier JP Morgan where he was head of data centre construction.
At Ridge, he will be in charge of a team of 50 and has been tasked with growing the firm’s business in the sector both in the UK and abroad.
Taylor said: “The defence sector continues to benefit from continued government investment. There hasn’t been a more important time in the last 20 years to strengthen and modernise delivery of the UK’s defence capability and critical security infrastructure.”
Ridge is working for the Ministry of Defence’s prime contractors in the UK as well as being on the Crown Commercial Service’s framework for overseas work.
