The first league table of surveyors on Twitter has been published.
An initial list of 50 influential RICS members active on the social media site includes companies and individuals working in land, property and construction. The league table will continue to develop as surveyors become more active. If you are a member of RICS you can nominate yourself or your company by following the instructions below.
The most influential user so far is Ben Muir is founder of Avalon Built Environment a Harlow-based building surveyor and project manager.
Captia Symonds are next on the list, which was compiled by construction social media company tCn and RICS using the online ranking website PeerIndex.
PeerIndex ranks Twitter influence out of 100 according to authority, activity and audience.
RICS has given Twitter its blessing. RICS’ Jaclyn Dunstan said: “This is an excellent way for RICS members to increase their exposure. Through Twitter they can show who they are and what they’re about and connect with potential clients and other built environment professionals.”
We will be following the Top surveyors on the QS section of the Building website.
An article promoting the full 100 will be published soon including interviews and commentary with those involved.
