3DReid will boast 320 employees and a £20m turnover making it one of the top ten practices in the UK
REID Architecture and 3D Architects have announced they are to merge to form a single practice.
The new practice will be called 3DReid, and will boast 320 employees with offices in Birmingham, Edinburgh, Falkirk, Glasgow, London and Manchester. An expected turnover of £20m will make the practice one of the top ten in the UK.
Current 3D director Charles Graham-Marr will become chairman of 3DReid while REID director Geoff Reid is to retire after 28 years with the company. The 20 directors of the existing companies will make up the new board.
Reid said: “It is significant that [REID] is merging at a high point in its creative life with a like-minded firm which also has an ambitious culture. This is a progressive union for both practices and one which opens up exciting new opportunities.”
