Deal covers Midlands and eastern England
Eight contractors have won places on a new £750m public sector framework covering the Midlands and East of England.
Procurement body Scape has appointed Jeakins Weir, Stepnell, GF Tomlinson, Lindum Group, Ashe Construction, Conamar, Clegg Construction and RG Carter to its regional construction framework for the areas.
The four-year framework, which will be structured into four regions, is focused on community-focused construction projects valued up to £7.5m and will begin from 26 August.

Scape’s existing regional construction framework has delivered 400 projects over the past four years.
John Simons, group procurement director at SCAPE, said the body had “enhanced” its framework for the region “to provide our public sector colleagues with the tools to not only deliver value-driven infrastructure in their areas but support their journey toward a net zero built environment”.
