Staron launches recycled work surfaces

Solid surface distributor Staron has launched a range of work surfaces that contain recycled resin and chips. The collection is available in seven colours: Aspen Snow, Pebble Seastar, Sanded Wheat, Pebble Fennel, Pebble Basalt, Aspen Mind and Sanded Noir. The company claims the product is non-porous making it bacteria, mould and moisture resistant. Staron says that sinks and bowls can be incorporated into the surfaces to create bespoke, integrated countertops for commercial and domestic use. Staron says the product has achieved Warrington Fire Certification for its 13mm and 6mm products; its 13mm material attained Class 0 certification, while its 6mm material attained Class 1 certification.
