Metsec has launched a new side rail support system that uses a “click and fix” mechanism to secure C-section side rails in place

The system consists of a 55mm-deep channel with two new end fixings, a locater end and a lock end, which clip together through the standard holes provided in the rail. The rapid rail support system can be used for both vertical and horizontal cladding. The company claims that obviating the need for old-fashioned nuts and bolts provides savings in materials and fixing time, as well as simplifying demounting procedures.
