A combined CA Group Execa rainscreen cladding system has been used to clad two part-residential and studio buildings at MediaCity in Salford.

The first building, a 26-storey tower, features the Twin Therm base cladding build up over which metal rainscreen PlanoWall panels were hung. Some 4,000 rainscreen panels were hung on the second building. CA Group said the combination offered very high levels of air and watertightness, which helps the building use less energy.
