Regeneration specialist to start enabling works on Greenwich Peninsula

Quintain has made progress on its massive Greenwich and Wembley regeneration schemes, the developer said in a statement this morning.

In Greenwich Quintain said it will soon begin enabling works on two residential blocks that are part of its 10,000 home Greenwich Peninsular project.

Quintain also said it had agreed the £53m sale of a key development plot in Wembley City above its valuation.

The developer has agreed a forward land sale and development contract with property investors Keystone Partners on a scheme to develop a 660-bedroom student accommodation block.

Together with the separate sale of five apartments at Wembley for £1.5m, the total windfall for Quintain of £54.5m exceeds its valuation of £51.5m.

The developer said it will recycle the proceeds into construction at Wembley.
