Ian Simpson Architects £150m Altair regeneration scheme in Cheshire

The £150m Altair regeneration scheme in Altrincham, Cheshire, has received ouline planning permission rom Trafford council.

Designed by Ian Simpson Architects, Altair will have 15,000m2 of retail space, 150 apartments, 8,000m2 of office space and a 3,000-seat ice rink.

The joint venture between developers Nikal and David McLean is scheduled to begin in 2009 and complete in 2013.
