Consultant Frank Whittle Partnership has been appointed to oversee the £80m redevelopment of Oldham Athletic FC's stadium at Boundary Park.

The project will involve rebuilding three sides of the ground and building key-worker and market-value flats, a 120-bed hotel, club facilities and 10,000 m2 of offices. The project will increase the ground's capacity from 13,500 to 16,000. A planning application will be submitted in September, with work likely to start in May next year. FWP is looking for a development partner on the project.
