Scottish contractor posts £4.4m pre-tax profit on turnover up to £147.5m
Ogilvie Construction has posted an 81% jump in pre-tax profit from £2.5m to £4.4m for the year ended 30 June 2008.
Turnover at the company, which is based in Stirling in Scotland, grew 56% from £94.8m to £147.5m. Ogilvie ended the year with net assets of £11.7m.
The company operates in sectors that include leisure, industrial and education.
The pay of the highest-paid director rose by 22% from £145,000 to £177,000 and the average pay across the UK-based firm's 464 staff was £34,000.
