Lime Technology’s wall panel system features bespoke timber cassettes

About 3,500m2 of Lime Technology’s prefabricated wall panel system, Hemclad, has been installed at the new Kanes Foods salad factory in Middle Littleton, Worcestershire. The Hemclad system features bespoke timber cassettes that are filled with Tradical Hemcrete, a bio-composite insulating material, and Breathe, a hemp and flax fibre insulation. The firm says Hemclad was chosen as it offers high thermal inertia, low U-values and negative embodied carbon.
