HG Construction worker claimed he was vacuuming his underwear when he was caught in staff canteen by security guard
A Polish construction worker has reportedly been sacked by HG Construction from its Great Ormond Street site for having sex with a vacuum cleaner.
According to The Sun newspaper, the member of staff was discovered with his pants down in the canteen by a security guard.
The unnamed worker, who was found on his knees, was supposed to be locking up the site.
The builder claimed he was vacuuming his underwear, which is apparently, “a common practice in Poland”.
HG Construction, which was refurbishing the hospital’s administration block, said that while the story was amusing, it was not acceptable behaviour.
