Specialist glazing and cladding firm English Architectural Glazing has been appointed to work on the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital scheme in Brighton.
The project, designed by Building Design Partnership and being built by Kajima, will have curved pre-cast concrete wall panels to give it a boat shape, reflecting its coastal surroundings. The scheme will have three operating theatres, diagnostic and treatment facilities, an intensive care unit, a cancer day care centre and parent accommodation.
