Scheme designed by architect CZWG is part of massive regeneration effort in the London borough.
Guildhouse UK and Rosepride Properties have submitted plans for a £350m high-rise development in Croydon.
The building comprises a 55-storey tower rising above a 13-storey podium has been designed by CZWG and includes a 217 bedroom four-star-hotel, 397 residential apartments and 16,756m2 of office space.
Guildhouse chief executive David Hudson said: “The proposals for One Lansdowne Road will complement the existing regeneration strategy for the Croydon town centre, working with the other schemes that are already under way, to transform the town.
“As one of the largest London boroughs, Croydon is an area with a huge amount of potential. It benefits from exceptional transport links that make it an ideal location for regeneration and development,” he added.
The council’s decision on whether to approve the plans is due in January.
